If the patient has developed symptoms of an allergic reaction (such as hives, difficulty breathing, skin rash, itching, swollen lymph glands, exfoliative dermatitis, angioedema, pruritus, erythema, pain, or swelling in the joints or surrounding muscle and/or skin) during treatment with Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride USP, the patient should be advised to stop treatment and see your doctor immediately. Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride USP may be used in patients with a known hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin or any of the excipients. Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride USP may be used in patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance less than 30 mL/minute).
